TS-XL-R5, Buffalo’s New 4TB RAID 5 NAS

Yep that’s right, folks… here’s another Buffalo NAS. Hold on a sec, the new TS-XL/R5 isn’t your average NAS, it’s improved with higher performance than previous versions. With its more powerful CPU, it attains transfer rates 3 times faster as its little bother the TS-HTGL/R5 , this in spite of the number of PC connected and accessing data at the same time.

Available in 2 or 4TB, it also supports real time replication allowing for backup of one NAS to another, Time Machine compliant for MAC OS 10.5, and supports RAID 0,1,5 and 10. It can also tweak to boot-up and shutdown at regular intervals and the WAKE-ON-LAN feature.
