Onkyo Downgrades Their HDC-1.0 Dektop PC Designed for Audiophiles

Onkyo Japan announced a downgrade of their HDC-1.0 Audio PC we introduced 2 years ago just here.
Our Music Nettop now comes with an Intel Atom 230 CPU (1.6GHz), an Intel 945GC Express Chipset, 1GB of memory, 160GB of HDD, a DVD SuperMulti Drive, 6 USB 2.0 ports, and Windows XP Home.
The objective of this new Dekstop PC was to reduce the price from 200,000 Yen to 59,800 Yen by removing the built-in amplifier, and a few other nice features that were available on the previous version.
There’s a of three settings:
- The HDC-1L (Desktop PC only)
- The HDC-1LGX (with two speakers): Maximum Output power of 2×15W
- The HDC-1LGX/19W1 (Two speakers and 19’’ LCD screen with a resolution of 1,440×900 included.)
