Princeton Japan’s 5TB NAS: The DN-503AH-PDC

4TB not enough for you? What about 5TB? Princeton Japan just announced the launch of a new 5TB NAS, the DN-503AH-PDC, an average NAS with RAID 0/1/5 and 6 support.

With five HDDs, each 1TB , Princeton succeed building one of the largest consumer NASs yet.

It will be sold in Japan from the middle of December, no word yet on price.

I’m somewhat interested but can’t decide between this and the Drobo. Even though Drobo will probably be more expensive since it handles 16TB per drive slot, if I can’t afford it, it’s better to have something than nothing.

The Drobo is nice but it is not a NAS (No Network)

Agree with you Damiou, they lacked the NAS function
