The Hottest Webcam HUB, by Earth Trek

Here’s excellent news for those with the new “traveling webcam Hub” designed by Earth Trek (Hong Kong). We said “excellent” but we don’t know why…. It looks like a simple desktop webcam, but the Hong Kong maker announced it as the “hottest webcam”…

According to Earth Trek it’s “ Different from general webcams, this desktopversion can avoid scratches on your LCD screen”… Hummm… yep, why not, and it’s probably true since we’re talking about a web camera designed to be used on a desktop…

As Daimaou said, it’s like storing your car in a garage to avoid damaging it.

It features a metal sliding cover to protect the camera, an auto focus, auto brightness, snap button, and a 2 port USB Hub. It provides a VGA quality image (640×480), and has a 1.3 Mpix sensor.

The announced price is $45-$49 US.
