KURO-NAS: Kuroutoshikou’s New DIY NAS

Kuroutoshikou, a subsidiary of the Japanese maker Buffalo, releases many Buffalo product under their “no name” brand at a cheaper price. Here’s yet another example, the shiny new KURO-NAS/X4, a TeraStation PRO from Buffalo minus the HDDs.

Same case, same CPU, same technology, but this time you’ll have to get the HDDs and install the overall system by yourself!

Specwise, it’s powered by an ARM9 CPU at 500MHz, has 128MB of memory, and can fit four SATA HDDs.
