FIRECODER Blu, a New SpursEngine Card Hits Japan

There’s no need of introducing SpursEngine Technology, it’s the same used by the PS3 (among others) for nice HD video capabilities. As for today, only Realteck sells cards in Akihabara. However, this may change since now you can also find FIRECODER Blu, a SpursEngine card made by Thomson Canopus, that’s aimed at helping improve video encoding/decoding of HD contents.

This card is sold in Japan for less than 50,000 Yen (400€).
