EIZO ColorEdge CG242W, Another 24” LCD with DisplayPort

DisplayPort is the NEXT big thing you’ll have to consider buying one day or another. Just to let you know, if you bought a New MacBook Pro (that reminds me, I have a small review to write on this one), you’ll have almost no alternative (almost none since the DP to DVI dongle exists) but to move to an LCD with DisplayPort Technology.

Anyway here’s the ColorEdge CG242W from EIZO, covering up to 97% of the Adobe RGB spectrum, with a WUXGA resolution, (1920 x 1200), 178 degree view angle, a maximum brightness of 270cd/m2, and a contrast ratio of 1100:1.

It will be released in Japan January 2009, for 1750€.
