SV-ME75, Waterproof 1Seg Viera TV Now Available in Gold

Japanese people love taking baths, it’s part of their culture and I admit that I enjoy them too! (Onsen… Yeah!!!) With this in mind it’s no surprise many Japanese, mainly women, spend a lot of time in the bathtub (about an hour on average). Many read magazines and some even drink wine (yeah, really), but the new trend is watching TV. Thanks to the 1Seg (digital TV) system available in Japan, many can enjoy TV with a good picture quality.

Until now available only in Pink, White, and Black, Panasonic just announced their SV-ME75 from the end of the month will also be available in GOLD. It has a 1Seg Digital TV tuner with DVR function and is IPX7 compliant (waterproof).

i like the bath taking culture myself. this is indeed a good idea. especially because this portable device won’t kill you via electrocution if it is accidentally dropped in the water. =)
