Fujitsu’s New 500GB 2.5” HDD with AES 256bit Encryption

Here’s another 2.5” SATA 500GB HDD from Japan, not much to add here since it’s pretty obvious what it does It’s interesting to note Fujitsu will release two versions, the regular 2.5”SATA HDD (MJA2 BH series and the Security Freak powered MJA2 CH featuring built-in AES 256bit encryption function.

Both HDDs have 8MB of cache, a 1.4W of consumption in writing mode (1.3W in reading mode), an average SATA speed (1.5 to 3Gbit/s), 5400rpm, and only emits 2.4dB.
