930SC OMNIA 1Seg Now Available in Japan, Hands-on

Not so new outside Japan, Samsung’s OMNIA, a Windows Mobile 6.1 phone but rather a proprietary one, is now available in Japan, but with several local differences.

The Japanese OMNIA is available with a choice of three colors and a 1Seg TV tuner.
Spec-wise we still have a 5.15Mpix AF camera, a 3.3” VGA Screen, HSDPA, Bluetooth, and GPS.

The news is wrong:

No GPS, No Windows Mobile, No wi-fi (to be confirmed)

You are right, their strip off WM6 on this device, this has been confirmed by the person who went to the Event.

this phone sucks because it doesn’t have windows, etc. Softbank should crawl in a hole and die for how they treat their customer base and the writer of this article should waste readers time with the same crap that’s translated from a Softbank magazine and write a real review about a product with some point of view or feeling towards the product.

Sincerely,
pissed off Softbank customer because of limited handset functions and capabilities for English Speakers and their inability to allow “real” phones on their network.

this phone is bullshit dude…..
