Redrock Micro’s Rail-mounted Focus Rigs for Canon’s 5D Mark II

Redrock Micro is a popular company when it comes to Indy filmmakers, they’re also popular for their lens mounts for cameras (plugging a Canon lens on a HVX 200, for example). Today Prolost.Blogspot.com had some stunning news, rail-mount and focus rigs for the Canon 5D Mark II.

The 5D Mark II is stunning in Video Mode with great video quality, but requires a LOT of time getting used to and mainly only video enthusiasts can use it to its full potential (no Auto Focus). Combined with this kit from Redrock, I’m sure many will soon be using the 5D Mark II in productions requiring a compact Full HD camera with lense kit, in instances when a regular shoulder mounted or HVX like camera is too big or bulky.
