Canon 5D Mark II, Visiting Akihabara

Today I went to meet an old friend of mine, an avid AkihabaraNews reader, and we decided to take a walk in Akihabara to get some use out of our Canon 5D Mark II. Here are some live pictures (taken a few hours ago) within the Akihabara area.

While our version of the 5D Mark II uses Beta Firmware and tends to freeze from time to time, I’m pretty amazed by the quality of the pictures I took today.

    Just the Crop… As for the Video there are some “Problems” Canon do not authorize yet journalist in Japan to publish video made with the camera here in Japan. BUT since video are stunning we called Canon asking them to let us publish something… We are waiting.

    Thanks for posting these pictures, folks. I cannot wait to see more of your pictures. I would love to hear more thoughts about the camera and the AF system. Also, could you keep the EXIF information so we can view it?
