the better positions require japanese fluency which I’m not.

i’ll just continue taking vacations in japan.

That’s awful, is nothing !

Only to living (alone) there you will spent a lot more than $1000/mo (rental, transport, food, gas, phone, etc, etc), more like $1500~$2000, so getting $4k will be more like $2k/mo in reality.

Certainly isn’t a problem in Europe. And to be honest, a job site on an international site aimed at international viewers – but only offer job ads for residents is pretty pointless. Why have it at all if it serves almost no purpose?
I realize the problem, but it’s a japanese problem. Keep it japanese then. Now it’s just an execise in Japanese-English translation and only mildly interesting.
