Tokyo Game Show 2008: Winning Eleven 2009, Hands-on!

Football fans have been waiting for this popular Konami game, the new season of Winning Eleven 2009! The Akihabara News staff briefly tested it for you!

We played a demo version, so it’s a little difficult forming an opinion about it, but it’s very similar to the previous version. According to a Konami Staff member, they concentrated mainly on improving general graphic and stadium designs.

As for game play, Winning Eleven Series fan shouldn’t be disappointed. There aren’t many changes, but there are some improvements. On the down side, Konami still doesn’t have a FIFA license… meaning there won’t be any European League.

Personally I love this series, but I didn’t see any big improvements or innovation … updated teams with a few additional game modes …

It will be available in November!
