Available in Japan in November: Yamaha’s High End Amp (A-S700) and CD Player (CD-S700)

Yamaha just announced the November Japan release of a new amplifier, and CD player.

The A-S700 amp (500€) is affordable (compared to the A-S1000) and provides an RMS power output of 90Wx2 at 8Ω, a THD of 0.019%, a signal-noise ratio of 98dB, and a frequency response of 10Hz-100,000Hz. It also features the Top-Art (Total Purity Audio Reproduction Technology), and aluminum front panel and knobs.

The CD-S700 CD player (420€) is designed to complement the A-S700 amp. It uses the proprietary Silent Loader mechanism that produces low noise and jitter while giving the player a high quality feel. It features a USB port, reproduces CD-R/RW format, and plays MP3 and WMA audio files.
