    U dickhead… This is just a link to virus/worm… thx 4 that

  • m3

What virus? But does anyone have an idea whether DSi still accepts old backup cards like M3 Simply?

  • JoeShmoe

Bleh! Poor resolution cameras without the CPU power to do much other than still photo editing.

No GBA slot. Got Guitar Hero? Ummm, no you don’t, not with your shiny new DSi. Do you like GBA games? Too bad – I guess you can always buy the NDS re-released games and get to pay another $40 for an old game.

Once again, Nintendo shoots it own foot off by using SD instead of SDHC. Good forward thinking there, Nintendo! Also, the DSi only plays AAC files, not MP3 (once again forcing users towards the homebrew scene).

Oh yeah, also the DSi costs about 35% more. Good luck there Nintendo – you’re gonna need it. Only ones buying this will be the biggest fanboys or the morons.

I have 3 DSes which should qualify me as a pretty big fan, but the DSi does not interest me at all.

Wonder if they added WPA? I refuse to compromise my network security for a handheld gaming device.

Browser? That would be a feat – most websites want 800×600 or better. Not even close to possible on the DSi. After playing with the browser on the DS (including the homebrew one’s) I would have to say that it is a gimmick at best. Only the MOST desperate people in the world would ever consider actually using it for browsing the web – the screen is just too small to display a significant portion of each page.

yo, so I too wonder if it would be capable of running flashcards like m3 or r4. also I am still wondering if it has better screen resolution (cuz the ds lite graphics suck, 3d games are UGLY) because if it does it would be able to handle sweet new games like shooters (with good graphics) and even STARCRAFT. anyway, even if it doesn’t my old ds is giving out, so the dsi is the way to go (I would have to be mentalychallenged to byu a brand new ds), so my hope is that I won’t need to buy a new flashcard afterwards.
