Live from Pioneer’s Press Conference – New Blu-ray Recorders: the BDR-WD900 & BDR-WD700

Besides their new Plasma TV, Pioneer released a new Blu-ray recorder with built-in HDD. Available in two versions, 1TB (BDR-WD900) and 500GB (BDR-WD700), our Blu-ray disc player features Double Digital TV tuner, BonuView, and supports Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio.

Thanks to Pioneer’s HDD/BD recorders, you can record two digital high-definition programs in MPEG-4 AVC/H.264 simultaneously.

Of course, our BD recorders are KURO Link compatible.

The I/O terminal has HDMI(x1) / Component (x1) / S(x1) / Composite(x1) / Anolog(x2) output, and S(x2) / Composite(x2) / Analog(x2) inputs

Both should be available in October with an expected price of 1900€ for the 1TB version, and 1200€ for the 500GB.
