Toshiba Introduces New 12.1” Notebooks, the SS RX2 Series

Besides Sony’s new laptop launch, Toshiba unveiled seven new notebooks for their SS RX2 Series. All our RX2s are powered by an Intel Core 2 Duo SU9300 CPU (1.20GHz), an Intel GS45 Express Chipset, 2GB of memory (up to 3GB). They also feature a 12.1-Inch LCD LED backlighted screen in WXGA resolution (1280×800), as well as Wifi a/b/g/n, fingerprint sensor, SD/SDHC slot, three USB 2.0 ports, one e-SATA port, and DVD SuperMulti Drive.

The main difference between them concerns storage capacity. The T9GG and T9G will come with a 128GB solid state drive, while the T8GG, T8G, T7GG, T7G and S7G will feature 160GB of HDD.

The T8G, T7G, and S7G will be available on September 20th, and the others should be available in November. No word regarding prices.
