Four New Heavy Duty Desktops from NEC

This tittle may be a little misleading since all these desktops aren’t really supercomputers, but rather bulkier than the other NEC desktops we talked about today.

Let’s start with the…

ValueStar R Lui
Lui is an on demand solution from NEC, that we’ve talked widely about here on Akihabara News (Lui is Back! Here’s a Stunning UMPC and On Demand System from Japan). This time the ValueStar R Lui is available in two versions with either a Core 2 Duo E7200 CPU plus a 320GB HDD or a Core 2 Quad Q9400 and 500GB. Both have 2GB of RAM, a GeForce 8400 GS video card, a DVD Super Multi and prices ranging from 1270€ to 1520€.

ValueStar W

Another all in one from NEC, that for 1900€ gives you a 22” LCD with a WSXGA+ resolution (1680×1050). 2GB of RAM, a dual digital TV tuner, 500GB of HDD, a Core 2 Duo E7200 and a GeForce 8400M GT with 256MB of VRAM.

ValueStar M

Your average desktop that only produces 30dB max when powered on, has a Core 2 Duo E7200 CPU, 2GB of RAM, 500GB of HDD, a G33 Express video card chipset. Only 640€.

ValueStar L
With a 19” WXGA LCD, our PC is available in two flavors, Core 2 Quad Q9400 CPU, 2GB of RAM, 500GB of HDD and G33 Express video card chipset (1550€), and a lightweight version (1020€) with a Core 2 Duo E7200, 2GB of RAM, 320GB of HDD and a GEForce 7300 + nForce 630i Chipset with HDMI output.
