NS-F700 & NS-B750: Two New A-PMD Speakers from Yamaha

Yamaha unveiled two new bass-reflex speakers, the NS-F700 & NS-B750, that will be available at the end of September.

The NS-F700 features a 16cm woofer, 13cm Advanced PMD midrange, and 3cm (1-1/8”) aluminum dome tweeters with a DC-diaphragm.

The Advanced PMD (Polymer-injected Mica Diaphragm) cones are 15% lighter than the previous type, and provide a faster response.

The NS-F700 provide a frequency response of 45Hz~50kHz(-10dB), a sensitivity of 89dB/2.83 V/1m, an impedance of 6Ω, a crossover frequencies of 700Hz/4kHz, and can accept a nominal input power of 40W, and a maximum input power of 160W.

They should cost around 465€ each.

The NS-B750 features a 13cm advanced PMD woofer and 3cm (1-1/8”) aluminium dome tweeters with DC-Diaphragm. This 2-Way dass reflex speaker provide a frequency response of 60Hz~50kHz(-10dB), a sensitivity of 87dB/2.83 V/1m, an impedance of 6Ω, a crossover frequency of 4kHz, and accepts a nominal input power of 30W, and a maximum input power of 120W.
