DIY 192GB SSD Thanks to the Photofast CR-9000
This is not the first time we’ve heard about the Photofast company, nor is it the first time we’ve heard of a DIY (Do It Yourself) SSD, but the CR-9000 may stand-out from the competition.
Thanks to a nice, cool design equivalent to what Samsung made for its SSDs, the CR-9000 may receive up to 6 32GB SDHC cards in RAID 0 and provides a maxim of 192GB.
The manufacturer announced the following speeds: read 130MB/s write 85MB/s, but as you can see, and thanks to our dear fellow “Hitori Futari” (who sent us these nice pictures on a Mac), expect about 20 sec to complete and 17 sec for shutdown. Nice isn’t it ?!?!
The good news is that this product is now available in Japan and on GeeStuff4U.com and get this item.
