Marantz introduced a new CD player (CD5003), amplifiers (PM5003 / PM7003 / P8003) and AM/FM tuner (ST6003).

They should be available at the end of this month.

CD5003
Marantz announced that its CD player offers the purest digital sound reproduction possible, can reproduce MP3/WMA file, and features the ability to playback CD-R and CD-RW discs, CD-Text information such as artist name, and track titles, as well as the Pitch Control, and the Audio EX mode.
The CD5003 also provides a dynamic range of 100dB, a frequency response of 2Hz-20kHz, a signal noise ratio of 110dB, a THD of 0.002%.
You can expect a price of 200€.

PM5003/ PM7003 / P8003
The PM5003 Amplifier provides an output power of 40Watts x2 (8Ω), and 55Watts x2 (4Ω), a frequency response of 10Hz-50kHz (+0dB, -1dB), a bass tone control of ±10dB/100Hz, a Treble tone control of ±10dB(10kHz), a signal-Ratio of 100dB (CD/Line) and a total Harmonic distortion of 0.01%.
It also should cost around 200€.

About the PM7003, it offers an output power of 70W x2 (8Ω) and 100W x 2(4Ω), a frequency response of 5Hz-100kHz (±3dB), a bass tone control of ±10dB/50Hz, a Treble tone control of ±10dB/20kHz, a S/N of 88dB (CD-Line) and a THD of 0.02% and it features the HDAM-SA module. 375€

The PM8003, the PM8001 Successor provides almost the same specification as the PM7003: an output power of 70W x2 (8Ω) and 100W x 2(4Ω), a frequency response of 5Hz-100kHz (±3dB), a bass tone control of ±10dB/50Hz, a Treble tone control of ±10dB/20kHz, a S/N of 90dB (CD-Line) and a THD of 0.02% and the HDAM-SA module. This one will cost 560€

ST6003
The FM/AM tuner comes with 50 Presets programmable, manual station name input, Sleep & timer function…
About the FM-Tuner specifications, it provides a frequency range of 76.0-90.0 MHz, a Signal ratio of 70dB (Stereo mode), and a THD of 0.30%. Concerning the AM-Tuner, it offers a frequency range of 531 kHz – 1602 kHz, a S/N ratio of 50dB and a THD of 1%.
This FM/AM tuner will cost around 185€.
