I would like to see a modular design to allow for the next gen iPods to dock. I expect that the next gen iPods will come out next month as it seems that Apple has been replacing them every year in the fall lately. Apple is usually tight lipped about releasing any info to third party developers about their next generation products before they actually hit the market. A modular design would allow Logitec (or any other mfg) the ability to keep their product on the market longer. They could sell upgrade “docking” modules that plug into this dock that are sized to fit the current iPods on the market.
