Onkyo Unveils Two New 7.1 AV Amplifiers: the TX-NA906X & TX-SA806X

Onkyo never stops! This morning, they released two powerful new 7.1 AV Amplifiers, the TX-NA906X and TX-SA806X, which should be available on August 29th.

What’s new about these beasts?

TX-NA906X
Provides a maximum output power of 280Wx7 (6Ώ), a THD (Total Harmonic Distortion of 0,05%), and a frequency response of 5Hz-100kHz. It also features HDMI interface (4 inputs / 2 Outputs) that supports 1080p video signals (Silicon Optix’s HQV Reon VX video processor), as well as the RIHD (Remote Interactive over HDMI, which is Onkyo’s flavor of CEC control of connected HDMI devices using a single remote), an Ethernet and USB interface and also supports Dolby True HD / DTS-HD Master Audio codecs, as well as MP3/WMA/AAC audio files (from a PC or USB thumb drive)…

TX-SA806X
The TX-SA805X’s successor, providing a maximum output power of 250W per channel, features almost the same features as the TX-NA906X, namely, Silicon Optix’s HQV Reon VX video processor, HDMI Interface (4Inputs / 2 Outputs). A frequency response of 5Hz-100kHz…

Both are VIERA Link, AQUOS Link et REGZA Link compatible.

The TX-NA906X will cost around 2190€, and the TX-SA806X will cost 1550€.
