GT-R1: Tascam’s Portable Guitar – Bass Recorder Available at the End of August

Tascam announced that its portable guitar/bass recorder, th GT-R1, will be available on August 26th. With this new recorder you’ll be able to record your guitar or bass parts. It features direct guitar or bass input, a 128 x 64 graphic LCD back light, 1GB SD card, a guitar/bass trainer (allowing you to slow down the speed of a CD without changing pitch), a built-in multi effect, and preset rhythm patterns (55 presets).

It also allows MP3 and WAVE file recording/playback to/from memory and can record in 48/44.1 kHz 24-bit (uncompressed) to SD/SDHC card.

Expect a price of 200€.
