Buffalo Denies Information on Replacement EeePC 901 SSDs
Yesterday some websites announced that a new replacement SSD (32GB and 64GB version) for Buffalo’s Eee PC 901 would be available in mid-September. After calling Buffalo for information about the specifications, they wouldn’t answer as their new SSDs are still being tested.
They wouldn’t give official info about the reading and writing speeds etc… Concerning the release date and price, some Japanese retailers announced September in Japan at 90€ (32GB version), and 175€ (64GB version).
Buffalo refutes this information at the moment, and says they’ll make an official announcement once they finish testing.
So wait & see..
