Toshiba Launches the Camileo H10, a New, Low Cost Camcorder

Toshiba announced the addition of a new HD camera to its Camileo Series, the Toshiba Camileo H10. Our new camera records video in 720p, features a 10 Mpix sensor, 5x optical zoom, 2.7″ LCD screen, 64MB of memory, SD/SDHC slot (up to 8GB of memory), motion detection, night mode, and image stabilization.
This new camcorder will be available at the end of this month for 230€.

Umm. it’s not bad spec for common users.
it seems to be entry level of HD cam.
I think the price need to cut down more.
Toshiba seems to just put their brand on Aiptek and DXG camcorders and take a cut of the revenue so the price in the end is a bit higher even though those are low cost HD camcorders.
Toshiba needs to ask one of the manufacturers to put a microphone mini-jack input and that would solve all the crappy sound recording problems which really seem to be the worst problems on these low cost HD camcorders.
