Aspire One, Another Atom Powered Wonder

This afternoon Acer Japan unveiled its new ATOM powered UMPC, the Aspire One. Available in either White or Black, it features a N270 Atom CPU (1.60Ghz), 1GB of RAM (512MB onboard), a 8.9” WSVGA Screen with LED backlight, a 0.3Mpix web camera, 120GB of HDD, Wifi B/G, a memory card reader, and Ethernet port. It weighs just 1.1kg with a size of 249×170x29mm.
In spite of their nice designs, it seems that many ATOM powered PCs look alike lately… I just hope that the next ATOM PC will bring us something new.

the camera on it is 0.3 megapixels and it was made in taiwan, not japan.
Sorry for the Typo on the Web camera, I changed this already.
I know this is a TW company, but Acer JAPAN hold a press conference yesterday in Japan…
As for Acer, well I am not that stupid mate
wouldn’t it be practical to resize the large picture so they fit into the webpage, and can be viewed without scrolling? 900x~1300 px is not the best (not to mention the two layer Google ads, that pushes down the viewable images too, so they have to be viewed by scrollling down -> is there any click-through on gallery pages that generates revenue?)
Sorry for the offtopic, the black Aspire One looks great.
I’ve been told this is available in Polar white or electric blue (not black)
Is it different for Japan launch???
Over here in Singapore, there’s only white and blue. And from what I saw in the Acer Japan website, it’s also in white and blue. Is there really a black?
Could not find anything about a black Aspire One. And now that I look at the pic again, it doesn’t really look that black after all. Suspect it’s a blue under dim lighting, and that’s why appearing black.
she is beautiful…
