At the beginning of the month we introduced you to the latest TV from Pioneer, the 9th generation KRP600M, available in Europe in August. Our new KURO TV features a 60″ LCD panel with a resolution of 1920×1080, HDMIx2 input, DVI-D×1, composite x 1, and component x 1 input, and KURO Link compatibility. Also Available in a 50″ version as the KRP500M.
In addition, Pioneer released a separate media receiver for each new TV. Both feature an integrated analog /digital (DVB-T) tuner, a digital satellite tuner (DVB-S / DVB-S2), four HDMI inputs, and KURO Link. They are also certified DLNA, and can be integrated to a local area network.
Pioneer doesn’t do things by half. They also added two new EX-speakers for its high-end range with ultra-rigid cabinet construction, 2x16cm bass driver (For the S-8EX version) and 1x16cm (For S-4EX), with a maximum power of 160Watts (6Ω).
We’re not not finished! Pioneer also announced four new full HD cinema systems (available in October), the LX01BD, LX03, LX03BD, LX088BD.
• LX01BD: Blu-ray Disc Home Cinema System with Omni-Directional Speakers,
• LX03BD: Blu-ray Disc Home Cinema System with 5.1 AV Receiver and Satellite Speakers,
• LX08BD: Blu-ray Disc Home Cinema System with 5.1 AV Receiver,
• LX03: DVD Home Cinema System with Satellite Speakers.
The LX01BD features HDMI 1.3 interface (2 in/1 out), KURO LINK, iPod ready function (to connect it to your iPod), 7 Band EQ, and an intuitive LCD touch screen remote.
The others feature the same functionality, but also feature a SACD/DVD audio playback function and a front USB terminal.
Finally, Pioneer announced 3 Full HD LCD TVs:
• 32-inch KRL-32V
• 37-inch KRL-37V
• 46-inch KRL-46V
Our LCD TVs support 1080/24p, feature an image-driving speed of 100Hz, three HDMI inputs, and KURO LINK.
