Two New HD Video Cameras from Panasonic

While you’re planning your summer holiday, Panasonic is working on a new video camera to help you immortalize it.

Two HD models should be available on July 12th, the HDC-SD100 and HDC-HS100. Our HD cameras feature a 1/6’’ 3MOS sensor, 2.7″ LCD screen, optical zoom 12x, 5.1 surround mic, HDMI interface, and can record video in MPEG-4 AVC/H.264 (1920×1080) formats and audio in Dolby Digital (Dolby AC3) format.

The main difference between the two is storage capacity: the HDC-HS100 features 60GB of HDD, while the HDC-SD100 doesn’t provide HDD, but only a SD/SDHC memory card slot.
