Hyundai Launches a New 3D LCD Screen

Hyundai Japan introduced a new 3D LCD screen using TriDef Technology, the W220S. This 22″ monitor looks like a normal LCD screen, and allows you to watch 2D images. When viewed wearing polarized glasses, each eye sees odd and even lines, allowing horizontally interlaced stereoscopic 3D images to be viewed.

Our 3D monitor features a WSXGA+ resolution (1680×1050), a brightness of 300cd/m², a contrast ratio of 1,000:1 and a response time of 5ms, HDM/DVI-D interface, and built-in speakers (3Wx2).

It should be cost around 590€.

This is great! Too bad the vertical resolution is cut down to just 525 lines.
The display and glasses look very nice too.
Better than shutterglasses (less weight / no wire, less ghosting).

FREE headaches for everyone!

Does this, like the Zalman 3D monitors,
need Nvidia graphics card?
