Canon’s Latest “Jewel” Hits The Market

No, I’m joking!

Canon really announced the new EOS Kiss F DSLR “low-low-end” …. You might as well call it the Kiss X2 light.

We find no use and little interest concerning this device ….

It’s not really smaller, not lighter, fewer Mpix (10.1 instead of 12.2), fewer AF areas (7points instead of 9), but more buttons. Canon says it’s €120 cheaper than the Kiss X2 (Kiss F costs €420 and the Kiss X2 €540), but we found a Kiss X2 for €420 (It’s been three months since it came out and the price has decreased).

Basically, for a simple downgrade the Kiss F costs as much as its predecessor, …Well done Canon!

50% To enlarge its range of DSLR?

but it’s new so its gotta be better right….? that’s what your average consumer will think, but this is one of those times, when getting an xti is better and it has decreased in price to the point where both cameras will be fighting for the same market share.
