Panasonic P906i: Hands-on!!

David just returned from a press conference where Panasonic introduced the p906i VIERA mobile phone. We didn’t talk about it yesterday because it’s not available at Softbank, but at NTT Docomo.

David gave it a little test… It looks cheap, and the hinges seem very fragile … Otherwise it’s fast, but with a complex interface and not as ergonomic as Fujitsu’s F906i introduced last week. It provides a very slow Internet connection even though it’s 3G compatible.

Specifications: 3.1” VGA fullwidescreen (854×480), contrast ratio of 4000:1, OneSeg TV tuner, 5.1 Megapixel camera, microSD/SDHC reader, and available in four colors: Metal, Pink, White, and Black.

Just take a look at these pictures taken by David M.

I thought that was on softbank already?

or is this a new model of the phone? It gets confusing when they add there own model numbers to their phones.

Is it true that the hinges are weak? will it break easily?

that was a nice one, but i agree with mandariin, this hinge looks weak and break easily
