LG Launchs Two Stretched LCD Screens in the UK

Today LG introduced a two new stretched display monitors in the UK . The 29’’ M2900S-BN has a screen resolution of 1366×480, and 38’’ MS3800S-BN a screen resolution of 1366×398. Both provide a contrast ratio of 1,000:1, a response time of 9ms, and feature digital and analogue video input.

LG Electronics, a global leader in consumer electronics, today expands its monitor portfolio with the launch of its first two stretched display monitors for the UK. The M3800S-BN and M2900S-BN have been designed specifically to host large format digital data for public locations.

The M3800S-BN’s impressive 38″ screen and the M2900S-BN’s 29″ screen make these new monitors ideal for exhibiting information in large commercial areas, such as shopping centres and cinemas, and in high footfall locations like airports and train stations.

Both screens have a high picture quality and can display data either horizontally or vertically in large format and full colour. In addition, users can easily control power, contrast, brightness and volume from a single computer, by simply connecting cables between each monitor.

Fiona Landsberg, marketing manager, LG Electronics, says, “This is the first time LG has launched stretched screen monitors in the UK. They’re great for use in all locations that require large format digital signage, whether it’s on a 38″ or 29″ screen. We’re excited about expanding our range with these two new products that offer monitor solutions not just for the home or office, but also for the commercial sector.”

The M3800S-BN and the M2900S-BN have a screen resolution of 1366 x 398 and 1366 x 480 respectively, a 1,000:1 contrast ratio, 9 ms (grey-to-grey) response time, digital and analogue video input and PC input via 15-pin D-Sub.
