Marantz BD8002: Finally on the Market from June

Marantz announced its BD8002 Blu-Ray player, presented at the last CES in Las Vegas, will be released in Japan in June!
Our player utilizes a Silicon Optix Realta 10-bit chipset, and is Dolby Digital Plus, Dolby True HD and DTS-HD Master Audio compatible. It’s also equipped with HDMI output, 7.1 analog output, and offers an image quality of 1080/24p.
It will cost around 2100€.

Hm, Marantz should be a great choice for a BD player. They do great stuff, always high quality and got pretty much the functions you need.
The price is kinda high though.
I really want to buy this think, really love to watch blue ray dvds
yeah but, does it upscale multy region DVDs to 1080p with that chip? Does it play HD DVDs? (probably not)
For that kind of asking price it should be able to do a lot more. My PS3 can do everything this thing can do…
