Fujitsu’s New UMPC ATOM Powered Beast… Fact or Fiction?

During the IDF in early April, Fujitsu introduced its prototype UMPC equipped with an Intel Centrino ATOM. It looks like our little UMPC will feature a 5.6” rotating screen, maybe a touchscreen, and perhaps a 3.5G wireless and GP. Sorry we have nothing definite to report.

The rumor going around is it will be released in Asia sometime soon. Rumor or not, Fujitsu lips are sealed on this one.

Here’s a picture taken during the IDF… Could this be our future beast?

Here ‘s a video to show you what Fujitsu’s notebooks look like and what we have available at Geekstuff4u.com

We don’t have any information about the price because as it’s written in the title, we don’t know if it’s a rumor or not…

    Beautiful laptop.

It looks cool, but the jerk in the video needs to improve his fine motor skills. Although I think its still pretty thick, this is for sure one of the most compact devices we can expect.

Let’s all wait a year or so, and it’ll be at least 1/4 of size.
