Two New DigiJuke NAS YouTube Friendly by Planex

Planex will soon release in Japan two new NAS (Network Attached Storage), the MZK-NAS01SG05 (500GB) and the MZK-NAS02SG1T (1TB).

Both are regular NAS and have DLNA features, but thanks to a little trick from Planex and software installed on your PC, you can save YouTube videos directly then view them on your TV DLNA (Mpeg-2) or PS3 (Mpeg-4).

I agree these features are pretty cool, but I wonder why Planex is wasting its time with YouTube and their poor video capability. I don’t mean the content, but the circa 1989 look their video have especially on Full HD TV…

But Dailymotion and their stunning HD quality…

50% YouTube?
50% Dailymotion?
0% Other?

It is pretty handy to save youtube clips …. as you say though, the quality is less than ideal.
