HVX205A: Finally an Update to our Beloved HVX!

At the NAB Panasonic revealed the AG-HVX205A, an upgraded version of our beloved HVX-200.

So what”s new pussy cat? We can finally record video in 1080p60, instead of the 1080p30 available on our HVX200, as well as a newly developed 1/3 progressive 3CCD and a 35mm wide angle for just 2990€…

    Recording in 1080p60.. the best just got better! But.. a little bit to expensive for me.

    If this is the Japanese version of the new HVX200A, then it converts to 60P, it doesn’t record it: “While the camera does not record 1080/60p…” -

    This camera does scan at 60P but NOT records to this framerate.
