Sony HDR-TG1 (TG3) In Da House… Unboxing

Sony just launched in Japan its new HDR-TG1, better known as HDR-TG3 in Europe. This morning Sony Japan was kind enough to lend us a test sample … here are some pictures of what the Japanese box looks like (Why did Sony put tape over the camera’s image?) and its contents.

I’ll let David play with the camera and write the review on this handycam, but the very first thing I can say is the AF seems a bit too lazy for me, so stay tuned!

does the lens have any threading so you can screw in DOF adaptors or tele/wideangle adaptors?
