Mario Kart Wii Unboxing

Ok! Ok! Ok! Mario Kart was officially launched yesterday, but we barely had time during lunch to run like madmen to the nearest video game store in Akihabara… Now we have the beast in our hands, and it will be hard waiting until tonight to play with it.

Meanwhile here’s some pictures of the Mario Kart for Wii box contents, as well as a proper unboxing of course

Picture taken with our Sigma DP1. (Thank you Sigma Japan!!!)

    Sold my wii last week, so no on this. ^^;

    Though, I’m pretty sure this game can boost wii sales a bit. It’s a really popular series.

    been playing this for a few days now, really cool game. In my opinion, might just be the most fun game so far on the wii platform
    online play is also virtually lag free, as opposed to brawl (even when playing people in japan/USA)

    I am a bit disapointed on this new version, yeah sure the Wii mote and steering wheel work great, but I feel the overall game “slower” and less “crazy/fun” than the GC version… I just finish the 50cc and started the 100cc races but lord sometime I get bored…

    It’s the most fun game on the Wii yet, beating Smash Bros. simply because it is lag free!

    @Daimaou, it’s the most frantic version of MK I’ve ever played, sure the whole ‘online’ thing can never be rivalled by real multiplayer split-screen fun (the days of inflicting pain on your friends when they beat you are still remembered) but the sheer velocity of the karts at 150cc and the new weapons really make this game kick-ass, not to mention the variety.
