Toshiba Raises the Bar for Gamers with Its New Satellite X205 Line

Today Toshiba introduced in the USA two new Satellite X205s featuring the latest 45nm Intel processors (T8300 & T9300), as well as Nvidia SLi technology video card with the Dual GeForce 8600M GT with 512MB of GDDR3 VRAM. Toshiba Raises Bar for SLi Gaming Standard with New Satellite X205 Line

IRVINE, Calif.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Toshiba’s Digital Products Division (DPD), a division of Toshiba America Information Systems, Inc., today introduced two new models of the Satellite® X205, its marquee gaming laptop series with bolstered performance by Intel’s next-generation 45nm processors and NVIDIA® SLi technology.

Designed for high-performance the new Satellite X205-SLi5 and Satellite X205-SLi6 provide remarkable gaming power and graphic rendering capabilities at an affordable starting price of $1,999.991. To ensure that gamers experience the finest game play possible each model incorporates dual NVIDIA GeForce® 8600M GT graphics2 cards and Intel’s 45nm processor3 technology. These technologies together translate into a visually immersive experience, with greater speed and performance that maximizes the potential of today’s most complex and intense games.

For gamers seeking a larger digital canvas, the new Satellite X205-SLi series feature an HDMI port for pure digital output to any HDTV with an HDMI port, which provides the capability to play today’s hottest games in 1080i high-definition.     Hm, if gaming is the maininterest then a stationary computer is better in my opinion. You can fit more into those and it just feels better to sit at.

    I would like to get a fast notebook but for programs such as photoshop, 3d studio max and maya.
