Little “Tour” at the Tokyo Anime Fair 2008

David and I went to the Tokyo Anime Fair 2008 this morning. It’s a professional event where major Japanese TV channels and studios gather to promote anime in Japan, and try to get deals with foreign partners. If you’re a big Japanese anime fan, the Tokyo Anime Fair is the place to be. You can get information on up-coming anime, or get in touch with your favorite studio…

It would be hard to cover everything in detail, but we’ll get a new Macross series this April… YEAH !, and a new Hokuto No Ken. A new Yattaman movie was also introduced this morning, and we had the pleasure of finding out some stuff about the new Lupin the 3rd Movie…

On a side note, did you know that Kawamori, Macross’ father, first built its creation thanks to Lego before putting its design down on paper?

The Tokyo Anime Fair is always an event that needs to be covered if you’re a big fan of Japanese animation…
