The Cranking MP3 Player from Thanko…

Oh sweet Thanko team… Thank you for your amazingly new little DAP, which can be recharged either with an AC adapter, by PC via USB, or thanks to your own muscle by hand cranking as you would on many old school devices your grandparents used. Cranking for one minute will get you 10 minutes of music… simple but definitely handy if you’re far from traditional power sources…

Our Cranking MP3 player supports both MP3 and WMA files and has 1GB of internal memory. It also comes with its own flash light to help you find your keys in the dark…

This product is available right now on GeekStuff4U.com for just 6000 Yen (40E) here Cranking MP3 player

    Seriously?
    Are you kidding me?
You think people are going to crank every ten minutes?
Or that they are going to be so Jonesed for music during a blackout that they’ll think, “God, I have to have ten minutes of tunes?”
You’re on the subway and you have to crank. How better to say, “Hi! I have an MP3 player! Rob me!”
This is just like all of the eco solutions. It isn’t a realistic solution to anything.
Talk to me when I can get an hour out of it after one minute of cranking. Then you’ve got something.
