Ninjas are Back in Town!

Thanks to Bandai Namco, the Asakusa neighbourhood in Tokyo is ready to welcome the Ninjas again as the Hanayashiki Amusement Park yesterday unveiled this new attraction … Of course we were there to check it out!

You know Bandai Namco for their games, but they also provide attractions and shows like this one for theme parks. I have to say it was extremely funny, and reminded me of good old Japanese TV shows like “Bioman” and “X-or.” I’m not sure what their names were in English speaking countries, but anyway, those Ninjas looked like they were coming out of those old fashioned shows. That made the whole thing laughable (in a good way) and very entertaining.

Hanayashiki Park was opened in 1853 (!) and features many old looking attractions offering a strong contrast to this high tech city. Those seeking excitement can still find it on new roller coasters, but I’d suggest the old one. Its construction looks scary enough to add more adrenalin to the whole experience.
