Sony Officially Apologizes for the PS3 Vulnerability and Network Hack
It appears there were a few worms on some PS3s… Today Sony officially apologized for some weaknesses found on their PSN system… Apparently hackers discovered a way of accessing some PSN accounts, changed their passwords, and used their credit… Fortunately hackers can’t access credit card information or use Visa cards… A patch closing this exploit should be released soon.
Just in case make sure you can access your PSN account and no one changed your password.

Ugh, come on Sony! These kinda things shouldn’t be able to happen.
And that’s why I sold my PSP.
They should apologize. That is a serious issue where sensitive information was lost and more could have been lost.
