ApriPoko, Your Personal Talking Universal Remote Robot

Toshiba just dropped a nice little bomb with its ApriPoko, a talking robot, voice-operated, universal remote control for multiple devices. Our little robot will first observe your behavior and ask you questions in order to learn how to operate various remote controls. ApriPoko detects IR beams and if you use a remote control the robot will ask you want you want to do.

Later you just order our robot to do what you want…

How well does this robot work? Does it got any flaws in it’s system or does it really work great?

The design was at least neat, I liked it.

Hotech has a device, which owns more mature and stronger functions. The user interface is very friend, IR signal copy function is very very easy, the apparance is very fashionable as well. I know this is their 2nd generation of that device, which is called VoiceMe, which is stronger and more mature than the first generation (the 1st generation was invented in 2001 and the 2nd one was invented in 2007. in these 6 years, their technology has improved a lot, so i can say the 2nd one is the best device with powerful function and more user friendly) It can be used by 4 users and it just like a robot as well, cuase it can respond you. the price is very reasonable and affordable. why i understand VoiceMe so much? because i own one! ha! i love using it every day. i know they sell it in taiwan and overseas markets. you can write to them and ask them. also you can take a look at their website. http://www.hotech.com.tw
