Sorry to say this, but Ipod nano isn’t the best on market. The quality really sucks, just to you see, isn’t even close to Sony NW-A8xx series.
So far, M$ Zune is good enough and produce zero (yep, zero!) noise, too bad is only available on US atm.
But what Ipod nano is really “outstanding” are the bugs! Lots and lots them!

For “best looking” well, thats depends a lot since is a personal taste.

The noise is only hearable if you use headphones for at least $200. I haven\’t tried the latest iPods, but the quality of the product and the ease of use really are outstanding.
This case, however, is not. The corners make the nano wider, taller, and thicker alltogehter!
it’s a good to protect the ipod nano but the production is limited and only available in Japan sadly
