128GB of SSD and 1X CDMA for the Toshiba Dynabook SS RX1

Even if the SS RX1 isn’t new, this notebook is still an impressive device. Today Toshiba decided to boost things a little bit more by adding both a 128GB SSD and a WIN 1x CDMA module from AU by KDDI.

Unfortunately you won’t be able to get BOTH the SSD and the CDMA card on the very same device, you’ll have to choose, and a crappy 80GB HDD comes with the CDMA Card… Pretty lame but well, that’s the price you pay apparently…

Oh and I mean that literally. Expect a price ranging from 2470€ up to 3846€ for this U7600 Core 2 DUO powered device, depending on your customizations… I’ll pass on this one…

    That is a pretty juicy price for something that seems pretty uncomplete in my opinion.

    How stupid that you have to choose between SSD and CDMA. There should be better options to this notebook out there, even cheaper.

    It’s to bad that 128GB SSD is so expensive. It’s a great alternative to normal HDD’s.
