One More Portable DVD Player in Panasonic’s Range

Panasonic is among the companies that continue to believe in portable DVD players, and they prove it with a couple new products: the DVD-LX89 and DVD-LS83.

Available in Japan on April 15, both feature DIGA image technology (same as on Panasonic’s flat screens) and will play DVD/DVD-R/DVD-RW/CD-R/CD-RW… As well as DVD-Video, DVD-VR, JPEG, MP3, CD-DA, video CD, SVCD, WMA and HighMAT2… Panasonic also had the good idea to put in a SSD/SDHC cards reader.

Autonomy is pretty good, from 7 to 13 hours when the economy mode is on.

The LX89 is equipped with a OneSeg receiver, that’s the major difference with its little brother LS83.
