Toshiba Launches its Gigashot External DVD Burner and Player

Toshiba has a long line-up of HDD and HD based camera branded under the Gigashot name. In order to make things even simpler for many of you Young Padawans, yesterday Toshiba released their external and autonomous DVD burner, the GSC-DW1, which will directly back-up your videos to a DVD without the requirement of a PC.

Not only can our little wonder burn DVDs, but it can also play them on any TV thanks to its HDMI out and RBG/component out.

You should expect to pay something like 250€ or $385US for this device.
